Do you like to sing songs like rock stars by the campfire? Swim like fish in a lake? Explore the outdoors? Girl Scouts summer overnight camp is for you!
At camp, you’ll learn new skills and experience new adventures. You’ll also make new friends and create memories that will last a lifetime.
And don’t forget—you can invite your very best friend to come too… even if she isn't a Girl Scout! It’s one of the many ways you can get involved in the Girl Scouts Leadership Experience.

Registration Tips:
- Before Jan. 29: Test your login to the MyGS platform. Ensure you know your password, your girl is registered for the 2024-2025 membership year, etc., to save time when logging in to MyGS. Contact Customer Care if you are having MyGS issues.
- After clicking the registration link, you'll be placed in a digital queue, a virtual line. This manages the number of people registering simultaneously to avoid system overload or camp overbookings. You'll see your place in line count down as others complete their orders. The line moves fairly quickly—stay on the page and don't refresh to keep your spot. The queue can't be skipped or bypassed, even by GSWO staff.
- Be a sister to every Girl Scout. When you sign up for only the sessions you need, you allow another camper to make magic and memories alongside you!
- Once you have registered and paid at least the $75 deposit, you can request Financial Assistance or use Digital Dough to help cover the cost.

- Manually type in your payment information. Using autofill or virtual payment numbers may require backing out of your cart and manually re-entering your payment information. If your credit card is declined and you believe this is a mistake, please re-check the credit card information entered. If everything is accurate, please use a different credit card, cancel the transaction, and start again. If these solutions don't work, please contact Customer Care for assistance.
Helpful tips:
- Use Google Chrome. Complete your registration on a laptop, desktop, or tablet if possible. If you're registering on your phone, check the app you use, as many default to other web browsers.
- Log out and log back in. If you're having issues, logging out of MyGS and logging back in will refresh the system!
- Transportation is available to Camp Libbey for two weeks of overnight camp: June 15 – 20 and June 22 – 27. Transportation is a separate event. We recommend completing registration for your camp session and then registering for transportation.
- Only complete the waitlist form for overnight camp once your preferred session is full. This will put you on the list to be notified if spaces open up for your preferred session.
- Review your cart before submitting. Double-check that you have selected the correct camp week, session, payment method, etc.

Animal Helpers (Week 3)

Pawprints & Paintbrushes (Week 3)

Blast off! Spend your week exploring camp in the night — go on a night hike, stargaze and look to the sky through a telescope, have a nighttime glow party, go for a night swim, and more! During the day, enjoy other camp activities like the climbing wall and campfire cooking. Girl Scouts will work toward the Space Science Investigator Badge. Campers should expect to stay up until 1 a.m. with a sleep-in breakfast at least one day during the week.
Horsin' Around (Week 1)

During this session, campers will head to Dusty Boots Ranch two days during the week to learn the basics of horseback riding! You’ll learn how to take care of a horse, practice grooming skills, learn to stop, steer, and control your horse, horse anatomy and more. Campers will learn from experts in the field like a horse ferrier, dentist, or chiropractor. Back at Camp Libbey, you'll swim, hike, cook a meal over the fire, and much more! Jr. Detective (Week 2)

There’s been a crime at camp, and all the counselors are suspects! You’ll learn the ins and outs of being a detective as you work to solve the mystery. Learn to extract DNA from fruit, find and learn about fingerprints, and learn how to find a suspect’s height just from their footprint! Clues may require you to use your swimming skills or hunt along the trails of camp. You never know where they will be! Share your findings with the whole camp at the final campfire. Girls will work toward the Detective Badge.
Mini Session: Drip, Drop, Slime! (Week 3)

Water, paint, and slime! Each day at camp will be filled with water and art. Swim in the pool, make different types of slime, and create messy art projects. Campers will complete steps toward the Home Scientist Badge.

Join the Lost Girls for a week of fun, adventure, and mischief! You and your fellow “Lost Girls” will explore camp to find and build your perfect hideout, lay out under the stars, and work on your archery skills. In true Lost Girls fashion, you’ll also stir up a little mischief, too! You’ll use catapults to launch water balloons during a water balloon fight, hoist your flag up the flag pole without getting caught, and much more! To top it all off, have a sleep-in breakfast at the Lost Girl’s Hideout. Campers will complete steps toward the Junior Camper Badge.

Cannonball Pirates (Week 7)

Ahoy! This week, Girl Scouts are channeling their inner pirates.
Campers will dive into a pirate's life with "Captain's Boot Camp," which includes a pool swim routine to build strength with strokes like "Shark-Fin Freestyle" and cannonball jumps. At the Mermaid Lagoon night swim, search for glowing treasure, float on pirate rafts, and race the Kraken. Plus, master water safety with rescue skills and floating techniques to navigate the Seven Seas like a true pirate. Girl Scouts will complete steps toward the Junior Practice with Purpose Badge.

Super Chef Challengers (Week 1)

Channel your inner Kitchen Crusader as you whip up dishes from across the globe, including an international delicacy, a regional favorite from the U.S., and a historic recipe from the past. Between missions in the kitchen, recharge with all your favorite camp activities like swimming, archery, and more. Campers will work on the New Cuisine Badge on this flavorful quest to become super chefs!
Travel Camp: Road Trip - Traverse City (Week 1)

Embark on the ultimate American summer pastime—a week-long road trip! Create a playlist, pack up the camp van, and prepare to explore all that Traverse City has to offer. The best part? You and your new friends get to make the plan! Spend Sunday night finding all the best places to go; visit the local lighthouse, take a hike through Sleeping Bear Dunes, or visit the local beach. The choices are endless and completely up to you! Girls will work toward the Ultimate Recreation Challenge or Traveler badge.

This opportunity is for girls who are ready to begin exploring the pathway to camp leadership. Topics covered in training include: introduction to the Girl Scout Leadership Experience, age and social characteristics of younger campers, essential skills needed to be a great counselor, and how to lead songs and games. CIT I’s will spend nights in their own unit and receive ongoing supervision and leadership guidance from the CIT Director, while building teamwork skills, and observing unit staff. Girls will work towards their CIT pin.
Trails and Tails (Week 2)

Are you ready to explore the connection between animals and people? Spend two days at Dusty Boots Ranch to learn the basics of horseback riding! You’ll learn how to take care of a horse, practice grooming skills, learn to stop, steer, and control your horse, discover how horses can help people, and more. Back at Camp Libbey, continue exploring how animals can help people, along with all the fun camp activities such as swimming, hiking, cooking over a fire, and more! Campers will work toward the Animal Helpers Badge.
Boo-Tiful Broadway (Week 2)

Lights, camera, action! At Boo-Tiful Broadway. you will work on earning the Screenwriter Badge in the most spooktacular way. Kick things off with a movie night, studying a film of your cabin’s choice for inspiration. Then, dive into the art of screenwriting as you create your very own show, packed with creativity and Halloween flair. The week wraps up with an exciting performance, where you’ll bring your story to life for your peers. It’s the ultimate mix of movie magic and traditional camp activities!
Ghouls on the Rocks (Week 2)

Calling all ghostly climbers! You're invited to a week of daring new heights as you work through elements on the low challenge course, see how high you can go on the climbing wall, and master the high challenge course. When you’ve had enough, jump off, and away you go down the zip line! Campers will participate in a nighttime glow climbing, and enjoy traditional camp activities like swimming, archery, and more. Girls will complete steps toward the Climbing Adventure Badge.
Travel Camp: Haunted Happenings - Level 1 (Week 2)

Learn the ins and outs of ghost hunting from real paranormal investigators. You’ll learn about equipment and the best way to conduct an investigation. Then, hit the road and visit some famous haunted locations for late-night investigations. Learn the legends and tales associated with the haunts, and with some luck, you might spot something yourself! Before the week ends, you’ll conduct your own paranormal investigation. Campers should be prepared to stay up until 3 a.m. with a sleep-in breakfast and may experience things that could be frightening to some campers.
Paws & Claws (Week 3)

Paws & Claws camp is a dream come true! Girl Scouts will complete steps towards the Animal Helpers Badge by learning from real animal care pros. From feeding and grooming, to understanding animal behavior, campers will get hands-on with furry (and maybe scary!) friends. Packed with fun, animal games, and expert-led activities, this week is perfect for any camper who wants to make a difference in animals’ lives!
Night Owls (Week 3)

There's nothing better than looking up into the sky and seeing thousands of stars. This week will be spent exploring the night sky — from stargazing, to night hikes, and sleeping under the stars for a night. You'll even get to sleep in one morning and cook a late breakfast! During the day, you'll experience a ton of traditional camp activities, like swimming, archery, and more. Campers will complete steps toward the Space Science Researcher Badge. Campers should expect to stay up until 1 a.m. with a sleep-in breakfast at least one day during the week.
Tranquil Trails (Week 3) - Cancelled

Ready for a week of fun and relaxation? This session is all about unwinding while diving into classic camp adventures like hiking, swimming, and stargazing. Spend your days mastering outdoor skills, sharing laughs around the campfire, and making memories with new friends. It’s the perfect mix of chill vibes and exciting camp traditions! Girl Scouts will have the opportunity to choose which badge or journey they would like to work on at camp.

This two-week opportunity is for the aspiring camp counselor who has already completed CIT I. CIT II participants will spend nights in their own unit and receive ongoing supervision and leadership guidance from the CIT Director while learning the skills needed to be an outstanding camp counselor during the day. CIT II‘s will experience the challenges and rewards of working with younger girls through training that includes application of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience, exploring the various leadership styles, learning positive behavior techniques, age and social characteristics, and overnight camp skills. Participants will have an opportunity to observe unit and program staff, evaluate experiences, and receive guidance from the CIT Director as they assist in units, building up to spending an entire day with their assigned unit. Prerequisite: CIT I. Girls will earn their CIT II pin. Girls will go home on the weekends between their two weeks.
Me & My Gal: Space Cowgirl (Week 4)

Saddle up for an out-of-this-world weekend! Girl Scouts and their favorite adult gal-pal will bond under the stars, create galaxy-inspired tie-dye, indulge in homemade face masks, and channel their inner cowgirl spirit at this unforgettable camp experience. Sing camp songs and roast s'mores around the campfire before getting a good night's sleep in a cozy lodge. Meals include Monday dinner, Tuesday breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and Wednesday breakfast. During this week of camp, work together by planning a Take Action project in the form of a performance to showcase in front of the entire camp at the closing campfire, and in front of families at the end of the week. Time to shine! Girl Scouts will complete steps toward the aMUSE Journey.
Wonder Women of WPW (Week 5)

Be prepared for nonstop adventure and learning to help people of all kinds! Sleep under the stars, cook a meal over the fire, and climb as high as you dare on the high challenge course. Perfect your target skills by launching hatchets and arrows at targets before heading to the lake for a canoe race. When not in action, spend time learning strategies for bringing people together. You'll zip your way through this adventurous week at camp with your fellow Wonder Women. Campers will complete steps towards the Archery and Climbing Adventure Badges.
Evermore Performer (Week 5)

Dive into the performing arts as you act, sing, move, design, and dance—as well as partake in traditional camp activities. At the end of the week, you'll use your theater skills during a performance at the closing campfire. Girl Scouts will be lead through different varieties of performance arts. It’s up to you and your group to decide — there are so many possibilities! Campers will have the opportunity to select the badge they would like to work on. Girl Scouts may tour the country music hall of fame, or catch a performance on Broadway street, and try some local famous BBQ spots.
Insta-Ventures (Week 7)

You're invited to learn about the world of photography! Join us in creating a session to remember by planning activities that are truly Insta-worthy. Capture a stunning sunset on Four Winds Lake, the perfect bullseye on at the archery range, the never ending battle between the 'golden-brown' and 'burnt' s'mores, or the picturesque view from your tent or hammock! You'll have the opportunity to capture treetops from the high ropes course, or take a group picture with you new friends at singing porch. Discuss appropriate 'netiquette' with your group, and break down the importance of the being kind. Campers can bring their own instaprint camera, or share one with a buddy that camp provides! Campers will complete steps toward the Netiquette Badge.
Build Time (Week 7)

This week will be spent working with the She Builds program to learn the ins and outs of construction – you and your group will leave your mark on camp by building a structure that will be there for years to come! During this hands-on program, you’ll learn about the process of building, use different tools, add electricity to your project, and more. Don’t worry—there will be plenty of time during the week for fun camp activities, such as swimming, hiking, campfire cooking, and so much more. Campers will complete steps toward the Woodworker Badge.
Cardboard Regatta (Week 7)

Get ready to dive into creativity and competition! This, you'll channel your inner engineer as you design and build your own cardboard boats. Working in teams, you'll craft your creation using only cardboard and tape, then test your designs in an exciting pool race to see whose boat will float, sail, or sink! When not busy building and racing, you will enjoy traditional camp favorites like hiking, campfire songs, and outdoor games. This session is perfect for anyone who loves teamwork, creativity, and a splash of adventure! Campers will complete steps toward the Mechanical Engineering Badge.
We Build (Week 7)

Between missions in the kitchen, recharge with all your favorite camp activities like swimming, archery, and more. During an all-camp activity, campers will engage in a camp-wide battle of colors with vibrant games and team challenges. Campers will work on the New Cuisine Badge on this flavorful quest to become culinary beginners!

Once you have registered and paid at least the $75 deposit, you can request Financial Assistance or use Digital Dough to help cover the cost.
Complete the waitlist form for overnight camp if your preferred session is full. This will automatically put you on the list to be notified if spaces open up for your preferred session.
Start your camp experience as soon as you step on our professionally driven charter bus! Buses are air-conditioned, include bathrooms, and are supervised by our trained camp counselors. Ride in comfort as you sing camp songs, play games, and bond with other campers.
Bus transportation to Camp Libbey will be available for two weeks of overnight camp: June 15-20 (Week 2) and
June 22-27 (Week 3). Buses will pick up and/or return girls to the Cincinnati, Dayton, and Lima Service Centers.
During summer camp session registration, you can select one of three options:
Round-trip travel: Sunday pick-up and Friday drop-off
Sunday only: travel to Camp Libbey
Friday only: return to Dayton or Cincinnati
Note: Mini-session attendees can take advantage of the one-way trips, but there will be no transportation mid-week.

Do you love summer camp and want to empower girls? This summer, we are looking for volunteers to help with everything big and small. You can volunteer at camp no matter your time commitment!
- Be a unit counselor for a week at day camp
- “Adopt” international staff for the Fourth of July weekend
- Ride the bus on pick up/drop off days at overnight camp
- Be a camp nurse for a week, the summer, or on-call to answer questions
- Make a home-cooked meal for out-of-town staff
