Me & My Gal: Space Cowgirl (Week 4)

Saddle up for an out-of-this-world weekend! Girl Scouts and their favorite adult gal-pal will bond under the stars, create galaxy-inspired tie-dye, indulge in homemade face masks, and channel their inner cowgirl spirit at this unforgettable camp experience. Sing camp songs and roast s'mores around the campfire before getting a good night's sleep in a cozy lodge. Meals include Monday dinner, Tuesday breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and Wednesday breakfast. Participants will receive a fun patch for this event.

Lights, Camera, Write! (Week 5)

Lights, camera, action! During this week, you'll work toward earning your Screenwriter Badge. Kick things off with a movie night, studying a film of your cabin’s choice for inspiration. Then, dive into the art of screenwriting as you create your very own show, packed with creativity and flair. The week wraps up with an exciting performance, where you’ll bring your story to life for your peers. It’s the ultimate mix of movie magic, and traditional camp activities.

In My Camp Era (Week 5)

It's time for our campers to take Center Stage! Along with your favorite camp activities, explore the different roles you can play through acting and dancing. During this week of camp, work together by planning a Take Action project in the form of a performance to showcase in front of the entire camp at the closing campfire, and in front of families at the end of the week. Time to shine! Girl Scouts will complete steps toward the aMUSE Journey.

Wonder Women of WPW (Week 5)

Be prepared for nonstop adventure and learning to help people of all kinds! Sleep under the stars, cook a meal over the fire, and climb as high as you dare on the high challenge course. Perfect your target skills by launching hatchets and arrows at targets before heading to the lake for a canoe race. When not in action, spend time learning strategies for bringing people together. You'll zip your way through this adventurous week at camp with your fellow Wonder Women. Campers will complete steps towards the Archery and Climbing Adventure Badges.

Evermore Performer (Week 5)

Dive into the performing arts as you act, sing, move, design, and dance—as well as partake in traditional camp activities. At the end of the week, you'll use your theater skills during a performance at the closing campfire. Girl Scouts will be lead through different varieties of performance arts. Senior Girl Scouts will complete steps toward the Troupe Performer Badge.

Travel Camp: Road Trip - Savannah, GA (Week 5)

Embark on the ultimate American summer pastime—a week long road trip! Create a playlist, pack up the camp van, and prepare to explore Savannah, Georgia. The best part? You and your new friends get to make the plan! Spend Sunday night finding all the best places to go, including the birthplace of Girl Scout founder Juiliette Gordon Low. The choices are endless and completely up to you. Girls will complete steps toward the Ultimate Recreation Challenge or Traveler Badge.

Counselor-In-Training (CIT) I (Week 5)
Currently in grades 8 - 11

This opportunity is for girls who are ready to begin exploring the pathway to camp leadership. Topics covered in training include: introduction to the Girl Scout Leadership Experience, age and social characteristics of younger campers, essential skills needed to be a great counselor, and how to lead songs and games. CIT I’s will spend nights in their own unit and receive ongoing supervision and leadership guidance from the CIT Director, while building teamwork skills, and observing unit staff. Girls will work towards their CIT pin.

Cozy Camp Couture (Week 6)

Take a break and treat yourself to a week of ultimate relaxation and rejuvenation! This camp session is all about self-care, where you’ll create your own bath bombs and face masks, practice journaling to reflect and set personal goals, and try yoga and meditation to find your inner calm. You’ll also learn D.I.Y. skincare tips and enjoy cozy evenings with herbal tea, soothing music, and storytelling around the campfire. With a balance of traditional camp fun like hiking and swimming, this session is designed to leave you feeling refreshed, recharged, and ready to shine! Girl Scouts will complete steps toward the Science of Happiness Badge.

Survivor (Week 6)

Do you dare? Test your wits, challenge your skills, and push your limits! It's time to go beyond the basics, sharpen your archery skills with games that will perfect your aim, work as a team to complete missions at the low challenge course, and increase your chances of surviving an apocalypse by learning outdoor skills! Girls will complete steps towards the Archery Badge.

Travel Camp: Road Trip - Nashville, TN (Week 6)

Hit the road for an unforgettable journey to Music City! This weeklong camp session combines the thrill of a road trip with the excitement of exploring Nashville’s vibrant culture. Along the way, campers will bond with friends, sing along to favorite tunes, and make memories at unique pit stops. Girl Scouts will have the opportunity to choose their destinations in Nashville. Girl Scouts may tour the country music hall of fame, or catch a performance on Broadway street, and try some local famous BBQ spots.

Step off the Yellow Brick Road and into a world of endless possibilities! Work with your group to choose your adventures this week. You could tackle the high ropes course, spend a night sleeping in hammocks or under the stars, go for a night swim, shoot archery, throw hatchets, and more! It’s up to you and your group to decide — there are so many possibilities! Campers will have the opportunity to select the badge they would like to work on. Please note: campers may decide to opt out of badge work during the week.

Insta-Ventures (Week 7)

You're invited to learn about the world of photography! Join us in creating a session to remember by planning activities that are truly Insta-worthy. Capture a stunning sunset on Four Winds Lake, the perfect bullseye on at the archery range, the never ending battle between the 'golden-brown' and 'burnt' s'mores, or the picturesque view from your tent or hammock! You'll have the opportunity to capture treetops from the high ropes course, or take a group picture with you new friends at singing porch. Discuss appropriate 'netiquette' with your group, and break down the importance of the being kind. Campers can bring their own instaprint camera, or share one with a buddy that camp provides! Campers will complete steps toward the Netiquette Badge.

Build Time (Week 7)

Grab your hard hat and get ready for a week full of construction fun! This week will be spent working with the She Builds program to learn the ins and outs of construction – you and your group will leave your mark on camp by building a structure that will be there for years to come! During this hands-on program, you’ll learn about the process of building, use different tools, add electricity to your project, and more. Don’t worry—there will be plenty of time during the week for fun camp activities, such as swimming, hiking, campfire cooking, and so much more. Campers will complete steps toward the Woodworker Badge.

Cardboard Regatta (Week 7)

Get ready to dive into creativity and competition! This, you'll channel your inner engineer as you design and build your own cardboard boats. Working in teams, you'll craft your creation using only cardboard and tape, then test your designs in an exciting pool race to see whose boat will float, sail, or sink! When not busy building and racing, you will enjoy traditional camp favorites like hiking, campfire songs, and outdoor games. This session is perfect for anyone who loves teamwork, creativity, and a splash of adventure! Campers will complete steps toward the Mechanical Engineering Badge.

We Build (Week 7)

Teamwork makes the dream work! Your group will spend the week working with the program She Builds to learn the ins and outs of construction — you'll leave your mark on camp by building a structure that will be there for years to come. Travel Camp: Haunted Happenings - Level 2 (Week 7)

Learn the ins and outs of ghost hunting from real paranormal investigators. You’ll learn about equipment and the best way to conduct an investigation. Then hit the road for Gettysburg, PA to visit some of the most haunted locations in the United States. Learn the legends and tales associated with the haunts, and with some luck, you might spot something yourself! Before the week ends you’ll conduct your own paranormal investigation.

Counselor-in-Training (CIT) II (Weeks 7-8)
Currently in grades 9 -11

This two-week opportunity is for the aspiring camp counselor. CIT II participants will spend nights in their own unit and receive ongoing supervision and leadership guidance from the CIT Director while learning the skills needed to be an outstanding camp counselor during the day. CIT II‘s will experience the challenges and rewards of working with younger girls through training that includes application of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience, exploring the various leadership styles, learning positive behavior techniques, age and social characteristics, and overnight camp skills. Participants will have an opportunity to observe unit and program staff, evaluate experiences, and receive guidance from the CIT Director as they assist in units, building up to spending an entire day with their assigned unit. Prerequisite: CIT I. Girls will earn their CIT II pin. Girls will go home on the weekends between their two weeks.

Choose Your Adventure (Week 8)

Brushes & Blossoms (Week 8)

Join us for a week of creativity and connection with nature! Explore the beauty of the outdoors through hands-on projects, including tie-dyeing with natural materials, designing your own square foot garden, and capturing stunning photos of the natural world. During an all-camp activity, campers will engage in a camp-wide battle of colors with vibrant games and team challenges! Campers will toward the Outdoor Art Apprentice Badge.

Camp Cuisine (Week 8)

Unleash your inner super chef! Grab your apron and cape for a food-filled adventure that will take your culinary powers to the next level! Channel your inner Kitchen Crusader as you whip up dishes from across the globe, including an international delicacy, a regional favorite from the U.S., and a historic recipe from the past. Between missions in the kitchen, recharge with all your favorite camp activities like swimming, archery, and more. During an all-camp activity, campers will engage in a camp-wide battle of colors with vibrant games and team challenges. Campers will work on the New Cuisine Badge on this flavorful quest to become culinary beginners!

Travel Camp: Road Trip - National Parks Exploration (Week 8)
Currently in grades 8 - 11
6 days | $590 | July 20 - Aug 1
Take action this summer and earn the Girl Scout Ranger Patch at the Great Smokey Mountains. To earn the patch, girls will perform 10 hours of community service assisting rangers. Work projects will focus on preservation, conservation, and protection of the park and the nearby ecosystems. Girl Scouts will work alongside Great Smokey Mountain National Park staff, performing service projects that will include removing litter from the trails. Girls will enjoy camping in Tennessee, where you will visit some of the most iconic sites the Smokies have to offer. At the end of your adventure, you’ll head back to Camp Whip Poor Will for final campfire on Thursday. Girls will earn the Girl Scout Ranger Patch and work toward the Ultimate Recreation Challenge, Adventurer, or Trailblazing Badge.
